SynopsisYou never forget your first love, but is a second chance worth the gamble?

Anthony, Viscount Rawling, knows exactly what he wants in life and he isn't above having a look about London for it. When he spots recently widowed Gabriel Tilden at a ton function, he thinks he might have found love…again.

Gabriel is as gorgeous and reserved as he was when he broke Anthony's heart seven years ago. But they were only adolescents then…surely Anthony won't hold the incident against him. And especially not when the attraction between them is stronger than ever.

Gabriel came to London in search of distraction, and a teasing Anthony is impossible to resist. As Anthony introduces Gabriel to the pleasures that can be found in the city—and in his bedchamber—their bond deepens into something more. Yet both men are hiding secrets that could pull them apart forever…

Impressions: I've loved this series from book 1, and Ava March is a go-to for some Regency era MM loving.

This is the first book in the series where the "Gambling on Love" series title takes on a literal element in the story.  While Anthony has never been able to let Gabriel out of his heart and mind, Gabriel has been not only gambling on the love he felt for Anthony, he begins to gamble with his money, valuables, and property.

Anthony and Gabriel had a brief interlude with each other, but though they don’t realize it at the time, it was a defining moment for both of them.  Whereas Anthony grows into a young man who knows his own heart and mind, Gabriel seeks to deny his own desires and to bury them in the belief that he does not deserve happiness.  When he becomes a widower, he becomes even more convinced that he deserves to be alone and unhappy.

When Gabriel and Anthony meet up again, Gabriel’s self worth is at an all time low.  While he tries to chase a gambling high, the one place where he feels truly happy is with Anthony.  Watching Anthony support Gabriel as he learns to love, and learns to love himself, makes his a wonderful read.

The romance is intense, and these two men are well developed and complex characters.  I loved seeing these men learn to love, and the addition of the other characters in this series really added a great element to this story.

This is a wonderful addition to an amazing series and you do not want to take a gamble by missing any of these books!
